Dress Code
Dress for Success
Dress code is required to help instructors see the dancer's body. This enables them to make the proper corrections. Dancers can also be distracted by their own dancewear, having the appropriate dancewear eliminates this problem,

Acro
Footless tights (optional), leotard or sports bra and shorts, hair pulled back.
NO t-shirts.
Children's Combo
Girls - Tights, leotard, shorts or skirt, hair pulled back in a secured bun.
Boys - White t-shirt and socks, dance belt, black tights/pants and shoes.
Black tap, jazz or ballet shoes.
Hip Hop
Comfortable clothes, baggy pants and t-shirt. Tennis shoes or dance sneakers.
NO bare feet, NO street shoes,NO booty shorts.
Tap
Leotard (preferably solid color) and tights, shorts or pants allowed, black tap shoes, hair pulled back.
NO jeans, NO sweatshirts, NO large t-shirts
Ballet
Pre Ballet - Any Color leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers, skirt is optional
Beginning Ballet - Class uniform leotard***, pink tights, pink ballet slippers NO skirt
Ballet I-VII - Class uniform leotard***, pink tights with seams, pink ballet slippers, NO skirt
Adult - Black or dark leotard, pink or black tights and ballet slippers. NO skirt
Boys (all levels) - White t-shirt and socks, dance belt, black tights/pants and shoes
***see front desk for required uniform leotard available for each level
*All long must be hair pulled back in a secured bun.
Contemporary/Lyrical
Tights footless or convertible (optional), leotard, sports bra, shorts or dance pants, jazz shoes (no sneakers) or half soles, hair pulled back.
NO big pants, NO sweatshirts and NO large t-shirts.
Jazz
Tights footless or convertible (optional), leotard, sports bra, shorts or dance pants, jazz shoes (no sneakers), hair pulled back.
NO big pants, NO sweatshirts and NO large t-shirts.
Turns and Leaps
Tights footless or convertible (optional), leotard, sports bra, shorts or dance pants, Split-sole jazz shoes are best. (no sneakers), hair pulled back worn away from face. NO big pants, NO sweatshirts and NO large t-shirts. Please ensure your body lines can be seen! No street clothes!
