Sue Gilson
Sue Gilson assumed the operation of the studio from Georgia Copeland in 1998. She worked with Georgia for more than 25 years and has continued her legacy of providing excellent dance technique and opportunities to dancers in North San Diego County. Sue has professional credits in jazz, Polynesian and tap dance from performances in the Los Angeles area. Sue has choreographed musicals for Palomar College including Cabaret, Chicago, Can Can, Fiddler on the Roof, West Side Story, Sweeney Todd, The Merry Widow, Quilters, Little Shop of Horrors, Kiss Me Kate and Pippin. On frequent trips to the east coast, Sue studies with Gus Giordano in Chicago, Frank Hatchett and Joe Lanteri in New York City and regularly participates in professional dance workshops and master classes. Sue is on the Board of Directors for the Jazz Dance World Congress and on the dance faculty of the Performing Arts Department at Palomar College.
